My journey creating biothane dog gear started with my full time passion, as a professional dog groomer. Working in the pet industry I see over one hundred collars and leashes every week. Most of them being faded, dirt stained, and smelly. I was first introduced to biothane by a handler at a dog show, and knew I had to get one for myself. After using my collar daily with my Rottweiler, named Whiskey, it was proven to me how well this material holds its quality on large breeds. A year went by, and that same collar looked just as vibrant as the day I bought it. Even with our frequent trips swimming in the lake. I was sold on biothane and wanted every color for myself. So, I started making them! The first people I presented them to were my grooming clients. They love them! It's a great feeling to make a dirty dog clean again, and wash their collar in seconds to give back to the parent. Trail Hound gear comes with on all our adventures exploring Michigan.
